The racecar alphabet

結合字母書和小男生最愛的賽車繪本
但屬於韻文的繪本對我來說一直是最難的繪本
就像是中文的詩，
在唸故事的時候，好難解釋
可是又不能只唸英文
(除非是念的滾瓜爛熟的繪本，鈞鈞才准我唸全英文)
所以這本書，我可是研究了好多天才敢念給鈞鈞聽
(每次在研究繪本時，都覺得念書都沒有這麼有動力
果然~愛~克服了一切啊!!!)
(試著翻譯看看，不知道是不是有符合作者的原意..請指教囉)
Automobiles-machines on wheels.
汽車-車輪上的機器
Belts turning, fuel burning, the buzz and bark of engines. The flap of a flag- a race begins.
皮帶轉動，燃油不停地燃燒，聽到引擎不停地呼喊。旗子一揮，比賽開始。
Curves across the course cause careen and to crowd and come close to colliding.
跑道上的彎道，讓車子傾斜、擁擠，甚至太靠近而相撞
Drivers daring, dodge the danger.
勇敢的駕駛，閃避著危險
Eyes in the audience, each open and eager, expecting excitement (enduring exhaust).
觀眾渴望地睜大眼睛，期待刺激 (同時忍受持久賽的疲憊)
Flat feared and fought, the driver's foe.
爆胎、恐懼和競爭..這些都是駕駛的敵人
Goggles guarding sight.
護目鏡讓視野清晰
Helmets holding heads.
安全帽保護頭部
Instruments indicating speed.
車子上的儀器顯示著速度
Jarring, jerk, jolt and jounce.
震動、急拉、顛簸和搖動
(基本上，我查了一下，還是分不出Jar、Jolt和Jounce的差別...因為都是震動、晃動等意思)
Kaput- a car that has crashed that no key can start.
完蛋了- 汽車已經已經撞壞了，沒法再啟動了
Leader logging laps.
領先者計算領先的圈數
Motor, mighty motor, maker of motion- roars like a monster, minded and mended by many mechanics.
這台汽車，厲害的馬達，就靠他來移動...發動起來的叫聲像是個怪獸，是由好多技工保護和照顧著
Numbers on noses needed for knowing who's now in the lead.
車子的前頭必須貼上號碼，這樣才可以知道誰正領先
Oval (over amd over)
橢圓形的跑道 (一圈接著一圈)
Passing, outpacing, pressing the pedal and pulling ahead.
經過，超越，踩著踏板加速往前
Quick, without question. Quiet? Not quite.
快，不用懷疑! 安靜? 一點也不!
Racing, rapid riding, rushing, roaring, risking.
比賽，快速的開過，衝刺，轟隆隆的吼叫，冒著風險
Steering to cease from sliding, stop from slipping, stay in the lead, speed to the end.
小心操控著汽車為了減少滑動，甚至在滑出去前停下，為了保持領先，一路加速到終點
Tires turning treads taking cars across the track.
輪胎不停地轉動帶著車子跑過一圈一圈的跑道
Upended, upset, and undone.
車子翻覆，懊惱，未完成的比賽
Vroom- drivers versus driver veering, vying, vowing victory.
轟~ 駕駛們爭奪跑道，祈求勝利
Wheels- when worn or wet- wobble willy-nilly, lead to weaving, whacking walls.
輪胎要是磨損或是因濕打滑，不管你願不願意，只好重擊那觀眾揮手的牆壁
X-ray after an accident.
車禍後照個X光
Yelp!
歐!!
Zipping, zigzagging with zeal and zing- a victory lap. Zoom!
充滿活力、熱情的經歷這些曲折...最後抵達勝利的一圈...倐~
Winner waving wildly.
冠軍張開大手迎接勝利!!
