終於進入今年的第二本書!
那天在網路上看到一篇分享文(但忘了在哪裡)
主要是指出大家學了英文這麼久，卻從來沒拿起英文書自己閱讀
害我覺得非常汗顏!!
想讓孩子培養閱讀能力，又買了這麼多的英文繪本
卻從未自己主動拿起一本英文書籍閱讀
所以，那天在逛圖書館時，偶然發現這本在青少年區的"I am Malala"
決定開始挑戰!
因為那篇的分享文提及，如果沒有習慣看英文書籍，可以嘗試從青少年小說開始讀起
沒錯!
花了我將近1個月的時間看完(因為實在是太忙了)
非常非常感動! 值得推薦給大家看看!!
(我還在家先跟我先生分享完我的心得)
看完後，才拿起繪本跟孩子分享馬拉拉的故事!
(也更了解馬拉拉所處的環境及心境)
馬拉拉生長於巴基斯坦的史瓦特河谷
在書上她描寫了從小的生活
包括她的地理環境、家庭生活方式
但與他人不同的是
她有一個經營學校的爸爸
她爸爸與一般的巴基斯坦的父親不同
允許馬拉拉參與男生們談論政治的場合
供給她各種獲得知識的機會
隨這塔利班戰士從遠而近到進入家園
她們的生活漸漸改變
從害怕四處的砲彈聲到
漸漸習慣在砲彈聲入睡
然而，最無法接受的是塔利班戰士主張"女性"
不能上街(除非包緊緊的+有男性陪同)
不能上學
而他的爸爸在此威脅下
仍然不段奮力的進行秘密運動讓女孩們上學
馬拉拉非常熱愛讀書而且名列前茅
最後在塔利班不斷轟炸學校的情況下
馬拉拉的爸爸只好中斷女孩們的課程
在這期間馬拉拉被關在家裡
書中她形容無法上街、偷看電視的情境
就像是被關在監獄裡一樣
對我來說，真的開始能夠想像，她急於為他全力奮戰的心情
如果是我....我一定會覺得
生下來當女生，並不是我的錯! 為什麼我必須被關在家裡!!!
在一個機緣下，爸爸找來美國的記者
美國記者需要一位女孩來轉述當地的情況
原本並不是馬拉拉，但是因為選好的女孩的家屬太害怕而拒絕
馬拉拉決定挺身而出
於是就開啟了她為女孩、為教育而戰的路程
最令我感動的是，馬拉拉與他爸爸兩人相知相惜
互相為對方擔心、又為對方驕傲的父女情
他爸爸在馬拉拉遭受死亡威脅及復原的一路上
不斷自責，文中又看到馬拉拉如何安慰爸爸的文字
害我都差點掉下淚來
最後她在聯合國發表的那段文字，實在令人動容
讓我更確信，孩子的成就有多遠，父母的影響佔很大的部分
以下是她在聯合國的演說
Dear brothers and sisiters,
Do remember one thing. Malala Day is not my day.
Today is the day of every woman, every boy, and every girl who has raised their voices for their rights.
Thousands of people have been killed by the terroriests, and millions have been injured.
I am just one of them.
So here I stand... one girl of many.
I speak not for myself, but for all girls and boys.
I raise up my voice not so that I can shout, but so that those without a voice can be heard.
Those who have fought for their rights:
Their right to live in peace.
Their right to be treated with dignity.
Their right to equality of opportunity.
Their right to be educated.
On the ninthe of October 2012, the Taliban shot me on the left side of my forehead.
They shot my friends too.
They thought that the bullets would silence us.
But they failed.
And then, out of silence came thousands of voices.
The terrorists thought that they would change our aims and stop our ambitions,
but nothing changed in my life expect this:
Weakness, fear, and hoplessness died.
Strength, power and courage was born.
I am the same Malala.
My ambitions are the same.
My hopes are the same.
My dreams are the same.
One child, one teacher, one pen, and one book can change the world.

對於曾經抱怨書讀的太多，想的太多，帶給自己太多煩惱的我
在看完馬拉拉的故事，多想挖個地洞鑽進去
在有一群人奮戰教育權的同時
卻有人抱怨，不要知道太多!?
看完馬拉拉的故事，更讓我堅信
知識就是力量!
